Is it really free to start?
Yes. No credit card required. Every new account gets 10 Interview Minutes, 500 Workspace Credits and 10 Email Sends — enough for one full 10-minute interview, scored end to end. Use it on a real candidate or run your own apply link and interview yourself.
What are Interview Minutes, Workspace Credits and Email Sends?
Three separate balances, so running low on one never disables the others. Interview Minutes pay for live AI voice screening — one minute each. Workspace Credits pay for AI generation in the workspace: writing a job description, a question set, a rubric, an email or an automation. Email Sends pay for delivered email — one per message. Previously one combined balance gated all three, so running out of interviews silently switched off the job-description writer.
How is an interview billed?
By its scheduled length, deducted whole. You choose 10, 15, 20 or 30 minutes when you set up the role and exactly that many Interview Minutes leave your balance. There are no fractional minutes, and a call that overruns by a few seconds costs nothing extra — the AI hard-stops at the limit you picked.
What happens when a balance runs out?
The action is refused with a prompt to buy more — never an automatic overage or a silent charge. Out of Interview Minutes: new bookings are blocked and interviews already under way finish normally. Out of Workspace Credits: AI generation switches off, while manual editing and everything else keeps working. Out of Email Sends: queued automated email pauses and is shown to you rather than discarded.
Is billing per seat or per interview?
Neither — it is per interview minute. You buy a balance of Interview Minutes and spend them on the screening you actually run. There is no per-seat fee and no charge for posting a role.
Are the plans subscriptions?
No. Every paid plan is a one-off prepaid purchase, and balances stack — buying a second pack adds to what you already hold rather than replacing it. There is nothing to cancel and no annual contract.
What happens after my free balance runs out?
You are prompted to buy a pack — Starter at $19, Growth at $49 or Scale at $149. Your existing interviews, transcripts and reports stay accessible either way; nothing is locked behind a payment.
Does the AI writing cost extra?
It costs Workspace Credits, not money. Each generation has a whole-number price — a job description, a question set, a rubric, an AI-drafted email, an AI-built automation — and you are only charged when it succeeds. Manual editing is free. Sending a pre-written template is free. Putting an already-generated interview score or rubric into an email is free.
How does cost compare to HireVue or Karat?
HireVue is enterprise-only with five-figure annual contracts. Karat uses human interviewers at $150–$500 per interview. Vettika charges for the minutes the AI is actually on the call, with no minimum commitment and no procurement cycle.
